Description We are currently looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to manage payroll for over 200 employees on a bi-weekly basis. This role is key to ensuring the financial health and accuracy of our client's company records and operations. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with experience in payroll operations, tax procedures, and financial reporting.Key Responsibilities:

Processing and managing bi-weekly payroll for over 200 employees, ensuring accurate calculation of wages, deductions, and benefits.

Setting up new employees in the payroll system and processing relevant paperwork.

Working closely with HR and Accounting teams to implement payroll changes and adjustments.

Handling payroll related inquiries from staff and resolving discrepancies in payroll records timely and accurately.

Keeping up-to-date with changes in tax and labor laws that impact payroll calculations.

Preparing various payroll and financial reports when necessary.

Assisting in the reconciliation of payroll accounts in the balance sheet.

Working with external auditors by preparing necessary payroll reports and documents.

Ensuring compliance with all federal and state payroll regulations.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred.

Proven experience as a payroll specialist or similar role.

Excellent understanding of multi-location payroll and taxes.

Knowledge of payroll software; proficiency in computer software for payroll, MS Office, and spreadsheets.

Strong numerical skills and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

Detail oriented with high degree of accuracy.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle deadline-oriented tasks.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
