Join us and start doing your life's best work.(sm)We are seeking a Plan Builder Configuration Specialist to join the growing Benefit Products team.In this position, you will implement Surest’s 14 standard plans for each approved state for our fully insured business as well as oversee / assist with the overall project management of plan configuration as well as validating results in Plan Builder, which is a tool that houses the standard plans.You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities:

Broadly, the Plan Builder Configuration Specialist role supports our ability to scale and deliver standard plans for the FI market segment

This includes ensuring the proper Plan Design Summary template is configured into Plan Builder and that the appropriate state mandates are reflected in the design of the plans for each state

Maintain plans within the Plan Builder in the event any changes are required to be made to Surest’s plans, to ensure the latest plan designs are reflected. Meet with internal teams to gather and document requirements and get plans built in a timely and efficient manner

Analyze and review operational results, details and gather feedback to ensure optimization of the plan building process

High School Diploma

2+ years of configuration experience as a configuration analyst or a technical business analyst

Experience using various approaches to collect, analyze and validate information

Proven experience performing multiple concurrent projects with firm deadlines

Experience in identifying trends and draw conclusions from process information

Working knowledge of health insurance principles and terminology

Understanding of database structure and database table relationships

Understanding of Agile, including Scrum and Kanban

Able to understand complex business processes that cross many functional operational units

Proven written and verbal communication skills

Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Proven ability to work independently and maintain a high level of initiative

Proven ability to train, coach and mentor others with the systems and processes

Demonstrated streamline current process, document, and communicate changes to impacted parties

Demonstrated communicate effectively and build relationships at all levels of the organization

Proven initiative and independent judgment within established department guidelines
