Pool Builder/ General Laborer $22-$35/hr

General Laborer, CDL driver, Equipment Operator – Pool Construction and excavating

Northern Dirt Works, a locally owned excavating company, is looking for general laborers, CDL drivers, and equipment operators. We are seeking motivated individuals to earn and learn in a variety of construction services. Our specialty is pool building, demolition, general contracting and dirt work. Be a valuable part of a team and get opportunities to grow and learn new skills.

Responsibilities –

- General labor including shoveling, digging, raking, and carrying job materials

- Pool assembly and pool equipment installation

- Operate machinery such as skid loaders, excavators, concrete mixers, and compactors

- Unloading tools and equipment and setup job site. Cleanup job site and load equipment at the end of the day.

- Be prepared to work in all types of weather conditions including heat, rain, and wet conditions

- Be safety aware at all times

Qualifications –

- Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, crouch, and lift for the duration of the work day.

- Ability to use hand tools such as shovels/rakes, power tools, levels, trowels, concrete mixers and equipment such as skid loaders and excavators.

- Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds

- Must be 18+

- Have and maintain reliable transportation

Additional qualifications that are desirable but not required –

- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen

- CDL class A license

- Foreman or experience leading a team
