Operating a Acupressure and Bystronic Brake Press. Acupressure is a 100 ton and Bystronic is a 350 ton.

Loading and unloading material into the machines, verify materials, meet required specifications and make equipment adjustments as necessary.

Will be taught how to set up and troubleshoot both machines for all jobs.

Will be expected to inspect their own parts using micrometers, calipers, tape measures, and other measuring tools.

Will need to completely and accurately fill out job paperwork and inspection reports.

They will work off of blueprints and schematics to set up jobs to operate the equipment and inspect for the correct tolerances for each part.

Other duties may include operating a forklift to move materials and assist on other equipment such as lasers.

Work Environment:Job shop, clean, well lit, and organized

Must wear steel toed boots

Machine shop environment

Open- shorts/jeans. T-shirt/ Long sleeve

Shifts:1st shift hours are Monday - Friday; 6:00am - 2:30pm2nd shift hours are Monday - Thursday; 2:30pm - 1:00amSkills & Qualifications:Must haves:

1+ year of reading and following blueprints

1-3 years’ experience within a manufacturing environment preferably on a brake press

1+ year of experience using calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and understanding bend allowances

Have to be able to lift 50 lbs

Preferred:

Prior work experience with sit-down forklift operation and knowledge of manufacturing materials (especially metal fabrication) is a plus

Independently executes all setups and has a complete understanding of the machine control and can perform basic programming

Perform secondary operations such as drilling, tapping, and deburring

Troubleshoots problems with the machine control and part programs

Ability to perform setups and programing
