Primary Responsibilities:
  • Build infrastructure as code automation code in the public cloud
  • Design, implement, configure, and maintain Azure SaaS Cloud Services
  • Resolve issues and provide technical assistance on the Azure cloud-hosted environment
  • Create and maintain Cloud security strategies, policies, procedures, and documentation
  • Optimize Azure buildouts for cost and performance
  • Identify opportunities for improvement, optimize performance and scalability of existing solutions
  • Develop and implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
  • Promote a DevOps culture to deliver high quality applications and infrastructure
  • Actively mentor team members and customers through code reviews, design reviews and overview sessions
  • Curiosity and a desire to continuously learn new technologies and patterns
  • Demonstrate solid analytical and critical thinking aptitude with problem-solving skills
  • Build rapport with clients with superior executive presence enabled with solid written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Perform day to day operations and maintenance of Azure based systems, including but not limited to backup, recovery and resolve complex technical problems
  • Maximize automation and reduce manual involvement, Monitors and analyzes systems performance and takes corrective actions, documents processes and create SOPs
  • Improve our cloud environment by integrating new technology, optimizing the current environment, and enhancing security

  • 4-year degree - (in STEM area a plus)
  • 3+ years of experience implementing CI/CD pipelines with automated infrastructure, deployment, testing, security scans and more (GitHub, Terraform, Jenkins, etc.)
  • 2+ years of administering services and deploying resources in a public cloud (Azure a plus)
  • Proficient with a scripting languages (Bash, Terraform, etc)
  • Solid understanding on Azure AD, Network Protection, Application Protection, Threat detection, etc
  • Experience with monitoring tools
  • Experience with IT compliance and risk management (security, privacy, J SOX, HIPAA, etc.)

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado/Connecticut/Nevada residents is $94,500 to $171,700. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
