As part of the Integrated Air Data Systems (IADS) department, you will have a direct hand in devising and executing product strategies for the most advanced air data solutions in the world. What YOU Will Do: The Product Value Stream Manager (VSM) ensures the values stream hits its key business targets for sales, on-time-delivery, customer satisfaction, inventory optimization, and product quality. The VSM works with the cross functional integrated product team (IPT) to achieve these goals. The role requires exceptional problem-solving skills & the ability to build effective working relationships. It will require collaboration across many functional groups and the ability to influence outcomes without direct authority. A successful candidate will be able to work independently and—given sufficient time—will have the opportunity to expand into the more strategic aspects of the value stream’s planning efforts. The VSM reports directly to Integrated Air Data Systems Associate Director and is an active participant of the leadership team. You be part of an energetic team that is driven to succeed. Manage the IPT to drive supply chain resilience and achieve output and delivery assurance targets.

Formulate sales and cash projections and work with the team to form an action plan for achieving targets.

Support industrial aspects of New Product Introduction (NPI) transition to production.

Identify and communicate risks for any future delivery commitments and executes mitigation / recovery plans when appropriate.

Ensure that operations output forecasts support customer demand and sales plans, at times requiring allocation to balance priorities for common deliverable hardware.

Collaborate with Value Stream Leaders (VSLs) throughout the organization to ensure customer demand is clearly articulated through our Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system (SAP).

Conduct data analysis to characterize demand, financial forecasts, and inventory levels.

Conducts production and rate readiness assessments for strategic customers.

Optimize inventory levels and proactively monitor safety stock.

Devise product quality roadmaps and drive quality action plans.

Qualifications You Must Have: (education, experience, skills, etc.)

Typically required: Bachelor’s degree (typically in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations OR an Advanced degree and 5 years of relevant experience OR In absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience is required.U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here: https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62 Qualifications We Prefer:

Demonstrated ability to lead teams with diverse skill sets and interdependencies between functional groups.

The ability to distill complex ideas into simple elements and to communicate them both up and down the management chain.

Experience with MS Excel, pivot tables, and data analysis tools.

Pertinent experience in some or all aspects of the product life cycle that you, as a VSL, can bring to the table and leverage to lead the team and the technology.

Business acumen to devise investment strategies, evaluate opportunities, and establish business priority.

Skills We Value:

Experience managing technical projects, including schedule and earned value management, risk management, customer interaction, and briefing executive leadership.

Experience in a regulated environment and familiarity with aerospace certification standards (e.g. TSO, MIL-STD, DO-160, DO-254, DO-178B/C, DO-297)

Operations management experience, on-time-delivery, process control/improvement, manufacturing yield and throughput improvements.

Supply chain management; sales, inventory & operations planning (SIOP); demand and material management.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
