Heartland Painting is hiring a Production Manager to lead and own our residential painting production department.

This is a leadership role, not a painter position and not a working foreman job. You will be responsible for scheduling, crew leadership, quality control, and customer experience once jobs are sold.

What You’ll Do

Own all production once jobs are sold, with the support of a Production Coordinator & a Project Manager

Schedule projects and assign crews

Lead and hold painters/subcontractors accountable

Conduct job site walk-throughs and quality checks

Ensure proactive and timely communication during production

Order materials and coordinate logistics

Solve job site issues before they become problems

Ensure jobs are completed on time with happy clients and gross profits at or under targets

If it happens on the job site, it’s your responsibility.

Who This Is For

You are:

Experienced managing painting or construction crews

Organized and proactive (not reactive)

Comfortable making decisions and owning results

Confident communicating with both homeowners and tradespeople

Firm, fair, and professional as a leader

Not a Fit If:

You’re looking for a painter or crew leader position

You don’t like accountability or desire a lot of direction

You struggle with organization, adminstration or follow-through

You want someone else to make decisions for you

You aren't a very strong communicator in writing and interpersonally

Requirements

Residential painting or construction management experience preferred

Strong leadership and scheduling skills

Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks at once

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Pay & Benefits

Competitive salary based on experience

Performance bonuses

Anticipated total comp $80,000-$100,000

Company vehicle or vehicle allowance (if applicable)
