Production OperatorJob DescriptionWe're looking for a Production Operator who will be starting their role in the packing area. In this role, your responsibilities will include the visual inspection of horseshoes, grinding down edges as needed, packing horseshoes into boxes, and preparing them for shipping. Come July, you will be trained to operate our Robot Machine. This will involve changing dies, trimmers, buttons, kidneys and punches, maintaining written documentation, adjusting the heat and speed of the robot, and monitoring the thickness, nail hole depth, and general appearance of the horseshoes. You will also be required to transport full carts of horseshoes to the packing department.Hard Skills

The shop has an average size and operates 5 lines, each consisting of a robot that manufactures horseshoes. We have a total of 83 employees, including front office and sales staff. Please note that the shop can get cold in the winter and hot in the summer, as we work around large machines that melt and form metal to produce horseshoes.
