Title: Python Developer JD

Location: Initial Remote (Minneapolis, MN)

Duration: Contract-to-Hire

Job Description:

Expert web application development skills such as HTML 5, AJAX, Javascript, Spring, tag libraries, CSS.
Cross-browser compatibility web development skills (IE, Firefox, Safari, Chrome)
Proficient database design and SQL skills in Oracle, PostgreSQL Database.
Strong knowledge of logging, monitoring, debugging and testing.
Ability to effectively communicate to a wide variety of audiences (both technical and non-technical) using both written and verbal mediums
Ability to work collaboratively and make decisions in a fast-paced team environment
Forward thinking approach in partnering with architects on new technologies and how they might be applied to business needs.
Experience working in a variety of project methodologies, including (agile, waterfall, iterative)
Experience working with geographically dispersed resources preferred

Experience:

7+ years experience in software development, systems implementation, and packaged software integrations.
5+ years experience: Python development experience and experience with Python frameworks
5+ years experience: Oracle, SQL
4+ Back-end dev with front end experience like React or Vue, Ruby on Rails, Java or similar preferred.
4+ years experience with cloud technologies/infrastructure
