Role QA Mobile Tester

Location: Minneapolis MN

Duration: Long Term.

Mobile Automation EngineerThe individual will be responsible for design, implementation, optimization and execution of functional and automation tests to ensure the quality of future releases for mobile applications, particularly iOS and Android. Need extensive experience testing native mobile applications through automation and deep expertise in Functional testing for mobile app. Good hands on experience using Appium and Test NG to write automation test scripts using JAVA. Proficient in using tools like GIT, JIRA, HP QC.

Required Skills:
  • Good Hands on experience with Appium and Eclipse
  • Ability to build and maintain automation suites
  • Deep knowledge of both Android & iOS platforms
  • Familiar with Android SDK & XCode
  • Ability to debug mobile application issues
  • Strong test planning ability

Responsibilities
  • Define and communicate the accurate mobile automation test plan/test cases
  • Provide qualitative and quantitative statdefect reports in a timely fashion.
  • Proficient in analyzing, debugging and fixing automation script failures
  • Collaborate with developers and other cross functional teams to analyze requirements, implementations and contribute to test strategy development on mobile
  • Responsible for finding, tracking and prioritizing issues while communicating with developers and business teams throughout the app development life- cycle.

Desired Skills:
  • Experience writing Swift or Espresso mobile automated tests
  • Ability to contribute to test automation frameworks
  • 2+ years experience in writing mobile automation test cases
  • Service virtualization through Wiremock
  • Webservice testing through POSTMAN or any alternative tool
  • Experience in security testing

Required Background / Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or experience
  • 6+ years in a Mobile Automation role
  • 3+ years of mobile testing experience
  • Agile / Scrum / Kanban experience

Soft Skills:
  • Ability to work and communicate with cross functional teams
  • Strong prioritization and organizational skills
