Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a QA Test Analyst III in Saint Paul, Minnesota. This role is vital in our operations and requires someone with a knack for identifying software problems and their causes. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and executing software test plans and scripts, with a focus on ensuring the functionality and reliability of our software. Responsibilities: Develop and execute software test plans to identify software glitches and their causes. Direct the development team on the design and implementation of automated tests that will help in end-to-end quality of major deliverables Lead Quality outcomes by standardizing test planning, test case development, test code reviews, and associated mechanisms. Run scripts and progress to the development of scripts independently. Design test plans, scenarios, scripts or procedures. Test system modifications in preparation for implementation. Develop testing programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios or usability. Document software defects using a bug tracking system and report defects to software developers. Identify, analyze and document problems with program function, output, online screen or content. Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes. Create or maintain databases of known test defects. Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates. Requirements Minimal Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; preferred degree in Software Engineering Preferred Qualifications 4+ years experience in building test automation and working with automated frameworks and tools Proficient with Azure Cloud environment Experience in building test automation and working with automated frameworks and tools Experience with QA automation in different application layers – API, UI, Data Programming experience and familiarity with patterns and best practices using automation tools (such as Playwright, Selenium, Postman, etc) Experience with CI/CD tools, such as Azure DevOps Experience with both onshore and offshore and with permanent and contract team members Deep experience with the software development lifecycle in an Agile setting; ability to adjust and apply this knowledge in a dynamic environment using agile methodologies. Outstanding organizational, communication, and relationship building skills conducive to driving consensus; able to work well in a cross-functional, matrix management environment. Knowledge of detail oriented software engineering best practices including coding standards, code reviews, SCM, CI, build processes, testing, and operations Strong organizational, project management, analysis, and communication skills.
