- Support creation and implementation of quality procedures, specifications, standards, data collection and metrics to ensure products meet or exceed requirements.
- Drive cross functional collaboration to create, update, and maintain process Control Plans and FMEA's
- Provide technical assistance as it relates to process capability and defect detection or prevention.
- Product release engagement to ensure manufacturability and process controls are realized.
- Analyze failure to meet a requirement, determine corrective and preventative action (CAPA) and use a structured problem-solving template such as 8D or 5xWhy.
- Review and analyze information and facilitate cross-functional efforts to systematically mitigate risk in "problem areas".
- Ensure results of root cause analysis are addressed.
- Assist with process improvement and compliance to deliver high-quality products and services successfully and consistently on a timely basis.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects to eliminate scrap, reduce rework operations, and optimize inspection process and procedures.
- Analysis of return materials and warranty information
- Assist in supporting procedures and modifications in QMS, product or quality standards as needed.
