Job Title: Quality InspectorJob DescriptionAs a Quality Inspector, your key responsibilities will include inspecting all hydraulic pump components produced in the machine shop for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications and blueprints. You will be required to use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to measure and verify dimensions and tolerances. In addition, you will operate Zeiss CMM (no setup needed) and perform visual inspections to ensure all components meet quality standards. Your role will also involve documenting inspection results, maintaining accurate records of all inspections, and communicating any issues or concerns with the production team and management. You are also expected to participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality and efficiency of production processes.Hard Skills

Job TypeThis is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Minneapolis, Minnesota.Work EnvironmentYou will be working in a manufacturing environment with around 100 employees. The facility is divided into two buildings, one housing the CNC machining centers and the other dedicated to assembly and shipping/receiving. The CNC department machines the parts for the pumps, valves, and kits, and the assemblers do the rest. This is a very organized and safe environment where they assemble roughly 15,000 pumps a year.
