Job Title: R&D Mechanical TechnicianJob DescriptionThis individual will be working on a wide range of R&D mechanical technician experiments. They will be analyzing and testing for the R&D team and supporting quality control for their disposable teams. Responsibilities include writing reports and protocols, performing mechanical testing (including force, pull, pressure, and leak testing), building engineering prototypes supporting both sustaining and NPD teams, developing and maintaining record-keeping for all testing performed, handling setup, acquisition, and maintenance of equipment and supplies, maintaining supplies and inventory for the mechanical testing labs, and being responsible for test method development, test fixture design and development, and reviewing and analyzing data. This role involves working with disposable materials, primarily plastics, and performing solvent bonding, UV bonding, and RF welding.Hard Skills
Mechanical calibration of lab equipment (5+ years of experience)

The individual will work with the R&D team in a brand-new lab setting.
