In addition, responsible for driving deep account penetration and new user adoption of Medicrea products at spinal accounts. Through job related synergies in technical expertise, core spine rep training, and end user training; this individual will drive adoption of Medicrea technologies through their technical and sales aptitude. This individual will also represent the company in accordance with its policies and in the area assigned, maintaining an awareness of local competitive conditions and report back promptly to the Strategic Spinal Technology Director.Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.Manage and drive the day to day activities of the UNiD System and Strategic Sales Initiatives:

Clearly defined objectives and required activities

Sales and performance accountability for the regionally focused activities.

Consistency in our approach to specific Medicrea sales activities and our pull through strategies

Strong collaboration with the Spinal Sales region, districts and territories

Create regional sales growth plans to meet and exceed company AOP and ensure proper execution

Develops new business through competitive selling and maintains existing relationships with customers (multi-tiered).

Understands and manages to local contracts; maximizes opportunity to drive penetration of accounts.

Understands, communicates and adjusts to market dynamics

Local market intelligence

Strategic market development

Business plan

Sells clinical and economic value of Medicrea at an account level.

Manages budget to ensure profitability.

Provides forecast monthly, quarterly and annual.

Effectively engages corporate resources to meet objectives.

Ensures efficient asset planning, deployment and management.

Manages surgical case coverage, including advising surgeons before, during and after surgery in accordance with proper use of Company products.

Perform key roles in business building events, including speaking, organizing and developing event plans as outlined by the Director of Strategic Spinal Technology.

Work in tandem with the Spinal sales reps to identify prospective new users for Medicrea implants

Spine-based resource for Medicrea technologies to empower our core spine reps to help drive Medicrea procedures at their accounts

Work in concert with Spinal sales reps on local projects, programs and Medicrea activities where appropriate.

Work closely with our field sales partners to ensure adequate knowledge, experience, and commitment to mission in order to maintain competitive advantage in all geographic locations.

Help ensure the success of Medicrea sales/marketing plan and sales objectives through sales efforts directed towards sales representatives and customers

Attend and participate in sales meetings, training programs, conventions and trade shows as directed

Conduct hands-on training sessions for core spine reps, physicians and hospital staff

Complete MBO requirements and periodic reporting as dictated by the senior leadership team

Provides a clinical resource for surgeons, clinicians and other being trained

Participates in in-house sponsored customer training at designated sites

Responsible for remaining current with trade journals, product and industry knowledge, and surgical techniques

Responsible for maintaining expenses within budgeted quarterly allocations.

Submits accurate expense reports 2x per monthly

Adhere to company policies and conduct all business in an ethical manner

Comply with all Medtronic policies

Must Have: Minimum RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED AND a minimum of 7 years of sales experience with 5 of those 7 years in medical sales; or

High School Diploma or GED AND 5 years of Medtronic Neuroscience (Pain, Brain or Spine) Clinical Specialist or Sales Rep I experience with 2 years of prior clinical or medical sales experience; or

Associates Degree AND a minimum of 5 years of sales experience with 3 of those 5 years in medical sales; or

Associates Degree AND a minimum of 3 years of Medtronic Neuroscience (Pain, Brain or Spine) Clinical Specialist or Sales Rep I experience with 2 years of prior clinical or medical sales experience; or

Bachelors Degree AND a minimum of 3 years of sales experience, with 1 of those 3 years in medical sales; or

Bachelors Degree AND a minimum of 1 year of Medtronic Neuroscience (Pain, Brain or Spine) Clinical Specialist or Sales Rep I experience with 2 years of prior clinical or medical sales experience.

Nice to Have2 years experience of focus on spine procedures and experience training sales consultants and physicians preferred
