The Sales Business Analyst will provide the company with detailed reporting and analysis of data to improve overall corporate productivity and to provide analysis of data to aid strategic planning, sales and marketing decisions, new product development and business development. The Sales Business Analyst will align customer, business and user needs with process, system and technology capabilities for management decision-making, improved productivity and sustainability of the data and underlying systems.

You are responsible for

  • Sales Analysis & Support
    • Design & implement daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and dashboards for field sales & sales management
    • Interpret sales data to identify trends or other patterns that can be used by sales management
    • Analyze business needs to drive and create report standardization and automation.
    • Obtains field feedback on reports & dashboards to continuously improve data quality output.
  • Sales Territory/Region Planning
    • Lead analysis & discussion with sales management around territory planning
    • Pull in multiple sources of data to perform analysis
    • Spatially enable the data for mapping analysis exercises using specialized mapping software
    • Make recommendations based on spatial analysis for territory and region expansion or revision
  • Assist with Commission Plan Administration
    • Design & model the sales commission plans in collaboration with sales management
    • Calculate and audit monthly, quarterly, and annual commission accruals and payouts
  • System/Process Support
    • Run control reports to ensure data integrity & consistency in the collection and reporting of information
    • Work with system users to help resolve any data entry/integrity issues
    • Ensures a standardized and consistent approach relating to data reporting and analytics.
    • Be a resource to other parts of the organization for ad hoc analysis or new report creation as needed
    • Participate in multi-disciplinary teams using data to improve usage and operational workflow

You are part of: RespirTech

Consists of members of the RespirTech Sales and directly reports to the Sr. Manager Business Reporting & Financial Modeling.

To succeed in this role, you'll need a customer-first attitude and the following

  • BS/BA in Business, Finance or Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 5+ years' experience in modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with Access databases and other data warehousing systems
  • Experience with CRM and ERP systems
  • Experience writing SQL queries
  • Experience with GIS mapping software preferred

  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends in complex data sets
  • Present complex information in an understandable manner
  • Build effective, sustainable systems and processes
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Proven success in cross-functional team settings with effective communication and negotiation skills
