At Securian Financial the internal position title is Product Sr Analyst or Product Analyst

Position Summary:

Securian Financial leverages Sales, Service, Experience and Marketing capabilities from Salesforce to unify our customer/channel partner experience, create efficiencies, and unlock data/analytics to help the family investor achieve financial security. We are looking for the right person to help make it easier by partnering with Sales Enablement teams across Securian. This job continually listens to our stakeholder needs, organizes that information, research implications and solutions, and ultimately transforms that feedback into Salesforce configuration, support, and training. This role works closely with our Salesforce developers, other Salesforce admins, business customers, and training partners.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Consults with business management and end users to help identify and implement strategic business goals.

  • Manages and configures Salesforce Sales/Service Cloud to meet our stakeholder needs.

  • Coordinate with the Salesforce community at Securian to ensure high quality solutions, minimize negative impacts, and continuously improve the Salesforce platform

  • Remains current with Salesforce and Financial Services industry trends and conducts research on emerging solutions to meet business needs at Securian Financial.

    Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to listen, define a problem, and propose solutions.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with management, end users, associates, and vendors.

  • Ability to direct solutions across data, configuration, code, and training and to understand complex issues.

  • Demonstrated experience to work effectively with customers or external partners in an ambiguous environment.

  • Demonstrated experience using Salesforce Service Cloud to solve business problems.

  • Working knowledge of the functions and operations of Financial Services.

    Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce administrator experience and certification

  • Interest in gaining Salesforce expertise including but not limited to Development.

  • Knowledge of business processes and how SFDC is incorporated into workflow.

  • Expertise in BPM and Agile methodologies as well as process mapping skills.

  • Understanding of process improvement methodologies (e.g., CPI).

    This position will be in a hybrid working arrangement

    Physical job requirements:

  • Ability to utilize keyboard, mouse and computer for up to 8 hours per day

  • Ability to work at least 40 hours per week

  • Ability to utilize telephone for up to 8 hours per day
