In this role you will partner with business leaders to achieve results by leveraging the full suite of D&T capabilities including: process improvement, transformation, problem solving, and technology. We need your help in solving complex, and ambiguous issues that cut across Sales and Marketing. While technology is interwoven in everything we do, the ideal candidate for this role will have existing experience in Sales & Marketing and can look at problems through a systematic lens. This role requires the ability to manage multiple initiatives and lead successful solution & project execution in partnership with various internal and external partners.

We are seeking a Salesforce Technical Analyst to join our North America Foodservice D&T team to support our Salesforce ecosystem. In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise & passion for establishing leading SaaS solutions to identify, implement, and advance process enablement, data capture, and reporting in the Salesforce technology ecosystem. You'll work on the NAF Salesforce product team and work closely with Product Owners, internal peers & external partners understand business objectives and requirements and implement & maintain Salesforce technology.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Leverage Digital & Technology Capabilities to Drive Business Value
  • Lead technical implementation of & support Salesforce Sales Cloud ecosystem solutions in support of the NAF roadmap (including but not limited to: configuration & Apex development for Sales Cloud, Salesforce Maps, TCRM, and CPQ)
  • Partner with NAF and Enterprise Architecture to translate capabilities into a tech-stack and implement optimal cloud-based solutions to support Salesforce platform tools
  • Partner closely with the enterprise technical teams to ensure NAF has a performant and resilient architecture
  • Lead solutions that drive Salesforce integration and connected data opportunities
  • Lead integration builds with internal partners & external technology partners/vendors to deliver on objectives across the technical ecosystem
  • Maintain high quality solutions with unit and integration tests
  • Partner with Product Owner to develop a capabilities roadmap
  • Define solutions for key programs and/or projects - with an end user lens
  • Create and help maintain shared technical documentation
  • Assure data quality and governance are in place
  • Define data validation, cleansing and deduplication rules and processes

Thought Leadership for Tomorrow
  • Partnering with Product Owner and internal & external partners to benchmark and design the technical components for key solutions
  • Lead discovery projects, POCs and experiments
  • Recommend enhancements to support and optimize Salesforce solutions, collaborating with broader teams as needed
  • Assist in planning for new features in partnership with the Product Owner, Architect, Project Manager, Data Engineers, and external partners
  • Stay up to date on cloud solutions and Salesforce product roadmap to inform the NAF roadmap (keep current with new technologies & releases)
  • Hyperaware of external conditions & capabilities (benchmarking)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • BA/BS Degree with 5+ years of Salesforce technical or development experience
  • Experience in an Agile delivery/Product Team environment
  • Demonstrated experience of strong communication skills (oral & written)
  • Effective influencing skills at various levels within the organization and externally
  • Ability to research, plan, organize, lead, and implement new processes or technology
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment yet independently productive
  • Demonstrated ability to span geographic and time zone constraints to collaborate on solutions
  • Adept at working with cross-functional teams and managing dependencies tied to technical product roadmaps
  • Self-starter & effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize across multiple deliverables & strategic initiatives with minimal oversight
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Database experience, including knowledge of SQL, and relational database concepts and models

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • BA/BS Degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT, or related field
  • Formal education or experience in a Sales & Marketing environment
  • 7+ years of technical or development experience, preferably with 2+ years in Sales and CRM solutions. Hands-on experience in Salesforce Sales Cloud, Salesforce Maps, TCRM, CPQ (configuration and Apex)
  • Salesforce development certifications are a plus
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms and solutions, such as Google Cloud Platform
  • Experience with dimensional modeling, ETL, and structured and unstructured data

DEVELOPMENT CANDIDATE WILL RECEIVE IN THE ROLE
  • Advancing Salesforce configuration & Apex skills in Sales Cloud, Salesforce Maps, TCRM, CPQ, integrations across technology and more
  • Skillset required to deliver results through third-party solution provider & implementation partners
  • Exposure to Google Cloud Platform environment and Sales & Marketing data use cases
  • Development of business acumen and NAF Sales understanding
  • Development of relationships and collaborating across teams
  • Communication and influencing skills
  • Depending on need, development could include training in: PL/SQL, Tableau
  • Mentorship for junior analysts on the team

ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS
  • While there is a strong desire for the employee hired into this role be physically located in Minneapolis, for this position we will consider remote/work-from home employee arrangements for applicants currently residing in the United States. If a remote working arrangement is considered, we highly prefer applicants living in central standard time due to business needs.
