Position descriptionThe Artificial Intelligence Innovation and Enable team within the Center for Digital Health at Mayo Clinic is looking for a highly skilled Software Quality Assurance Engineer. We are building a team of talented data scientists, implementation analysts and Machine Learning / Artificial Intelligence software engineers to develop and implement AI models into production use and will serve as a central resource to support or supplement areas on their AI projects. These could be in analytics, finance, clinical care or other domains across the Mayo Clinic Enterprise.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Work with customers and product owners to review / refine software requirements and specifications
  • As a member of one or more agile teams, design and write test scenarios and automation scripts
  • Execute test cases and analyze test results.
  • Provide quality records and metrics status reports, ensure product is up to quality standards before release.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field with 3 years of experience. Knowledge and experience in software test design and testing methodologies.Understanding of the nuances of AI/ML models and how to assess for model fit and vulnerabilities such as overfitting, drift, bias, etc. Good programming skills to develop automation scripts.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Attention to details.

Compensation Detail Required education, experience, and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The salary range every 2 weeks is approx. $3,496-$4,894.40 based on a full-time position.
