Our direct end client is looking for a SDE lead for a 6-12 month contract to hire. This position is totally remote.
2 resources neededSDE 4/Tech Lead They will not be managing people, but will be a lead on the team.Contract to Hire, must be eligible and interestedRequired:Hoping for Golang development experience,. Would consider Java if needed.Mongo on backendKnow relational and non relational databasesArchitecture and systems design, including event streaming and KafkaIs a requirement they have a test automation background, test pyramid, unit testingif they don't test what they write, forget it. Will not be managing people in this role, but interested in candidates who are looking for advancement as promotion to a manager is preferred at some point in the future.Were the Transact Global (TAG) team in a open loop payment processing platform built from the ground up by an agile team. It is cloud-native and built primarily with Go, MongoDB, and Terraform. The TAG team is pushing the frontiers of payments technology and is in the process of continuing to operationalize and scale the product.Our team holds itself to a high-standard and we collaborate closely with one another to ensure strong, reliable and effective relationships all while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. We own our results and we take pride of ownership in everything we do.At a minimum, you Have a BS in an engineering field OR can make us feel intensely confident that you dont need one Have 6+ years of development experience Have 3+ years of experience developing internal/external web services Have 3+ years of experience writing well-formed unit, component, and integration tests and have an in-depth understanding of the test pyramid Have a significant and demonstrable working understanding of multiple modern web frameworks Have an in-depth working understanding of NoSQL and SQL datastoresIt would be nice if you Can show us one or more passion projects or open-source work you have contributed to in your own time Have experience with Golang, MongoDB, AWS, and Terraform Have demonstrable experience with systems engineering and automation Enjoy hanging out with your team
