You will lead and manage advanced engineering projects, ensuring the successful execution of project activities and the delivery of high-quality solutions. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute project plans, ensuring that all project requirements are met. You will report directly to our Senior Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Minneapolis location.In this role, you will have a significant impact on the success of our Sensors Guidance and Navigation IMU development. You will be responsible for managing project timelines, budgets, and resources, providing technical expertise and guidance to the team, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project processes and efficiency.At Honeywell, our people leaders play a critical role in developing and supporting our employees to help them perform at their best and drive change across the company. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as engineering or related field.

Minimum 8 years of experience in advanced project engineering or related roles

Strong leadership and project management skills

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage advanced projects related to Sensor and/or IMU development

Define project requirements and develop project plans

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution

Work closely with peers and team members, customers, and suppliers to ensure project specifications are met and completed in a timely manner

Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to meet project goals and objectives

Effectively manage Risk and Opportunities and develop mitigation plans with the support of the technical team.

Supports technical projects or phases of projects involving the design and development of new products or improvement of core products and/or processes

Plans work packages and develops cost, schedule, and milestones for medium to large product development activities

Monitor project cost and schedule and develop response plans to address areas of variance

Interface with technical leadership, program manager, and customers
