The OpportunityWSP has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Consultant, Marketing in any US location where we have an office. A few of many possibilities include DC, Herndon VA , Dallas, Atlanta, San Diego, Denver, Phoenix, Minneapolis, and Chicago to name just a few. This position will be involved in projects with our award-winning Strategic Growth Team (SGT) - a multi-faceted and industry-best sales and marketing organization in support of our Earth & Environment (E&E) business across the US.The Senior Consultant, Marketing will support the business through strategic collaboration with business development and operations teams to plan and lead pursuits and proposals across diverse service offerings and markets i n the environmental and resiliency space including state/local government, energy, water, industrial/commercial, oil/gas and federal.We are looking for a leader who is an experienced and compassionate team player who enjoys working well with others; a strategic thinker; able to captivate an online audience; and is able to thrive in times of change. Leads complex proposals with general guidance, including scheduling and conducting project kick-off meetings and strategy sessions for a winning proposal

Researches, gathers and edits proposal materials, including writing, verifying, and formatting proposal information.

Ensures the various aspects of proposals and other marketing materials are compliant, accurate and delivered in a timely manner

Works with individual pursuit teams to develop pursuit strategies, including providing business intelligence on clients, competitors and WSP

Organizes and facilitates pursuit strategy meetings

Collaborates with technical staff to write original content and reviews/edits content for clarity, compliance and key messages

Collaborates with graphic design staff to plan and produce materials ensuring all proposal materials are effectively communicating the strategic vision identified for a given pursuit

Organizes and coaches technical staff in presentation phase of a pursuit

Supports client engagement teams by preparing materials for internal and external meetings, as well as participating in client engagement team meetings

May coordinate district communications activities, including creating press releases and announcements, writing articles for newsletters, and coordinating project awards and other special communications-related projects

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of relevant experience.

At least 5 to 7 years’ experience in the AEC industry in proposal management, support, and/or writing experience, preferrable for environmental services

Excellent writing, organizational, and communication skills.

Strong ability to guide and effectively influence pursuit teams.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with all levels of management, proposal teams, SMEs, peers, and teaming partners.

Ability to meet deadlines while being flexible and adaptable to required changes.

Ability to develop compelling themes, discriminators, and messaging to communicate value proposition.

Ability to work well both in a team and independently.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Ability to manage geographically disparate teams who have limited time to support proposal writing.

Ability to create original content using interview and research techniques.

Fluency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), InDesign and SharePoint.

Demonstrated ability to lead large, diverse and disparate teams.
