Eligibility may vary.Position descriptionThis role will serve as a builder and integrator, working across all of XD Research to ensure that all teams are working to evolve the vision, strategy and execution of our XD Research discipline. Contribute to, support, evolve and execute on the XD Research strategy at Mayo Clinic. Support high priority, high impact strategic and innovative use of XD Research to deliver value for shields and sites; may include specific efforts including discovery, organizing the work and resources, conducting analyses and developing guidance. Create and maintain XD Research process and standards, inclusive of both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, that streamline continuous measurement throughout the product life cycle. Ensure effectiveness of XD Research by supporting consistency in approach, delivery, and quality of work produced across all portfolios. Lead XD Research tools assessment and solution processes in partnership with other Digital Experience leadership. Ensure overall XD Research strategy continues to evolve. Serve as a partner to Digital Experience leadership and associated teams, providing strategic direction and operational insight for XD Research. Support and foster Mayo Clinic XD Research strategy by connecting and cascading strategic direction throughout Digital Experience/XD Research teams. Build and maintain a team of engaged and forward-thinking XD Research practitioners. Attract, retain, develop and manage a talented team of XD Research practitioners. Set expectations and uphold high standards of quality of work for yourself and the team. Perform or direct administrative duties, including hiring, onboarding, providing direction, reviewing work and giving constructive feedback, all with the goal of continual growth/development. Ensure overall skillset of team continues to evolve, demonstrated by setting and support performance and career priorities. Foster innovation, understanding the use of new and emerging design trends, emerging technologies, and software development techniques, all while balancing best practices with new ideas and concepts. Foster an internal culture of positive teamwork and transparency that drives excellent service, quality, diversity of thought, an engaging work environment and overall continuous improvement mindset. Serve as change agent for digital transformation, championing agile ways of thinking and working and enabling teams and individuals for success. Build, collaborate with and nurture trusted relationships. Establish trust and build confidence with cross-functional partners, building strong, collaborative relationships with the Chair of Digital Experience, Digital Experience leadership team members, XD Research and overall XD team members, CDH leadership team members, project leaders, and/or clients. Support Division Chair as trusted advisor. Serve as face of the Digital Experience organization as needed. Ensure consistent messaging with stakeholders across the Mayo Clinic Enterprise.Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field or a degree in an unrelated field combined with additional suitable experience. 15+ years of direct professional XD experience in an agency or enterprise setting demonstrating expert knowledge of XD Research best practices, methodologies, and philosophies. 7+ years leadership experience demonstrating skills as a strategic leader, conceptual thinker and effective communicator who can clearly and concisely articulate ideas and perspectives in a diplomatic and persuasive manner.Additional qualifications License or certification Exemption status ExemptCompensation Detail Required education, experience, and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
