Senior Java Engineer

A global leader in online car auctions working with real time transactions is looking to add Senior Java Developers (mainly on the backend) to work on a brand new platform as well as maintain and improve their existing platform. This will be a full-time role located conveniently in the Loop with a competitive salary compensation, 3 weeks of vacation, personal days, benefits, flex hours and more! The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of development experience, have leadership capabilities, and be enthusiastic about working with a highly skilled team to build a next generation platform. • 5+ years of experience developing in Java 8+
• Springboot, Spring, or Hibernate
• ElasticSearch/Solr
• REST/SOAP
• Tomcat/Apache

• Any experience with React, Angular, AWS, or IOS development would be considered an asset
• Any exposure and work with GraphQL
• University Degree in Computer Science or Engineering is strongly desired
