It all begins with you.The Operational Risk Management (ORM) Strategic Planning & Business Administration team provides the overall administration of the ORM function including developing ORM strategies, leading cross-functional business initiatives, and driving leadership routine and talent management.About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Business Execution Consultant to provide centralized services across Operational Risk Management to meet its strategic priorities. This position within the Strategy, Planning, and Governance organization will support activities aligned with strategic workstreams, partnering with executive management to define and deliver initiatives and programs to mature Operational Risk Management, and building relationships with a wide variety of senior leaders and Enterprise Partners.The candidate will report to the Head of ORM Strategic Planning & Business Management and will have primary responsibility for:Lead or provide support to ORM-wide strategic initiatives and related activities to meet deliverable expectations and mature the control function.

Provide guidance and support in defining, measuring, improving, and governing ORM business processes.

Drive process improvements and controls improvements to establish consistent, efficient, and effective business practices across ORM in particular and Corporate Risk more broadly.

Develop creative solutions for immediate priorities while identifying, evaluating, and recommending business administration, planning, logistics and strategy activities which ORM leads, facilitate, coordinate, assist with, etc.

Provide work direction to the ORM team as well as primary ORM business contacts as it pertains to the above.

Assess and mitigate risks associated with development of strategic approach, data sets, KPIs, and initiative plans.

Aggregate, evaluate, report results, and escalate where necessary

Manage external vendor relationships which support cross-functional business initiatives.

Act as a direct point of contact with the Human Resources team to build out any unique ORM roadmaps and processes which support HR initiatives, where required.

Drive key Operational Risk deliverables related to staffing assessments and capabilities assessments in partnership with other ORM teams.

Develop presentations and materials for executive level audiences.

In this role, you will:Act as a Business Execution advisor to leadership to drive performance and initiatives, and develop and implement information delivery or presentations to key stakeholders and senior management

Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges related to Business Execution that require solid analytical skills, extensive knowledge of Business Execution, and understanding of business, delivering longer term and large scale solutions

Provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leadership for implementing innovative and significant business solutions that are large scale and cross organizational

Lead team meetings or steering committee to facilitate decision making and support implementation of recommendations and plans

Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across multiple lines of businesses and serve as an experienced advisor to the leadership

Provide direction to a cross functional team using business expertise

Required Qualifications, US:7+ years of Management Consulting, Strategy Consulting, or Business Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:Demonstrated ability to draw insights and conclusions from content originating from multiple sources and of various quality levels and to tie those insights into a cohesive story/executive presentation

Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) with ability to communicate with senior management audiences

Able to synthesize material from multiple sources (e.g., presentations, SharePoint sites, regulatory materials, etc.) to create logically structured content that clearly communicates the intended topic to a wide range of audiences

Experience providing consulting services within a top tier management consulting firm

Track record of managing transformation efforts, preferably in the context of risk management/control.

Demonstrated ability to contribute or lead enterprise-wide initiatives

Execution oriented, professional demeanor, self-starter behavior and able to recognize opportunities for improvement in the business and to act on those opportunities

Advanced Microsoft Power Point experience, including visual storytelling with the ability to convey complex information and ideas both simply and clearly

Data visualization/mining skills, including the ability to gather, analyze, interpret and explain complex data sets

Strong Excel experience to analyze and manage large data sets

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate, influence, and manage projects involving stakeholders at all levels of the organization

Able to think strategically and pivot between multiple priorities

Experience working in a matrixed environment either as a team member or consultant

Group facilitation experience

Experience with project planning and execution

Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams, actively lead projects / discussions, work through problems, and reach decisions that are in the best interest of SERM, Corporate Risk, and the company

Knowledge and understanding of Operational Risk Management and associated risk management policies
