This role is a unique opportunity to learn a new manufacturing line during qualification and then become the subject matter expert in production. You are responsible for supporting the highly automated line initially during day-to-day development builds and qualifications then after launch supporting the line to meet production and quality goals. You are the first call for troubleshooting and provide key insight to continuous improvement opportunities. You will interact closely with Operators, Engineering and Equipment Support. A Day in the Life• Troubleshoot and/or adjust equipment, devices or systems • Lead failure analysis and issue resolution activities to ensure preventative action is accomplished• Resolve difficult problems that span a wide range of issues across functions• Interact with internal and external customers and vendors at various levels, including executive leadership, on significant issues• Participate in initiatives of strategic importance to the organization involving cross-functional teams• Identify process improvement opportunities and provide technical solutions via analysis and hands-on interaction with designated processes, including troubleshooting of mfg issues when they occur• Provide guidance, coaching and training to other employees within the area• Utilize project management skills to drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize yield, quality, cycle time and/or ergonomics
