If you are an experienced CAD Technician looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opening for you! Based in our Shakopee, MN location, you will be a member of a collaborative product development group. You will have the chance to design parts and assemblies for instrumentation used in liquid analysis, oxygen measurement and detection of flame and gas leaks.In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Team up with engineers to support Analytical Instruments product designs for both new product development and legacy products
Perform Mechanical CAD work on new and legacy products in Creo and SolidWorks
Assist with updating product labeling using Adobe Illustrator and SolidWorks

Two-year technical degree
Six (6) years of applicable experience
Legal authorization to work in the United States
Creo or SolidWorks MCAD experience
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
Experience using Teamcenter or Enovia PLM
Experience with design for injection molding and die casting
Experience using Adobe tools, specifically Illustrator
Familiar with Microsoft Office Tools
Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
Team player, professional, detail-oriented, thorough, and honest
Self-motivated to follow tasks through to completion
