your life's best work.(sm) As a Senior System Analyst, you will be a leading contributor within a team of highly skilled analysts and developers focused on enhancement and support of our Human Capital software applications. Specifically working with our compensation team to provide tools for planning salary and incentive awards. Working together with this team, our customers, and our partners, you will improve the user experience of our employee population by resolving issues quickly and providing solutions. You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a senior engineer and technical expert performing software enhancements and fixes
  • Working with analysts, code/develop/configure robust, configurable, and scalable solutions that fulfill customer needs and resolve user issues
  • Mentor Software Engineers in development and support to ensure high quality outputs
  • Ensure non-functional requirements are incorporated into solutions such as performance and availability
  • Conceptualize creative technical solutions to make both large and small improvements to the employee and user experience
  • Understand functional requirements and business needs and fully incorporate them into developed solutions
  • Support functional and technical testing including anticipation and prevention of roadblocks
  • Plan and execute deployments and releases
  • Implement and support data transmission solutions using modern technologies including APIs
  • Analyze behind the scenes data using SQL queries
  • Drive the application of modern software engineering practices across the engineering team to improve team delivery and solution outcomes
  • Drive code reuse and contribution strategy for span of control; minimize redundant development
  • Work within an agile development/delivery framework
  • Focus on improvement of agile development metrics including Time to Build (TTB) and Time to Value (TTV)
  • When working in an operations capacity:
    • Facilitate ticket resolution process including issue replication, troubleshooting, and root cause identification
    • Monitor and track open tickets and issues and update end users, as needed
    • Support the ongoing cyclical processes such as Manager Planning, Open Enrollment, and other enterprise initiatives

Required Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on SQL experience
  • 5+ of hands-on application experience with PeopleSoft
  • 3+ years of Oracle HCM software experience
  • 2+ years of success in delivering products and value within an Agile-development framework
  • Knowledge of APIs, SFTP, SOAP, REST, and other data integration technologies

Preferred Qualifications:
  • SQL development experience
  • Peoplesoft development experience
  • Oracle HCM Configuration experience
  • IT experience supporting compensation tools

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $82,100 to $146,900. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $90,500 to $161,600.
