Senior Workday Analyst, Compensation

Expectations of this role are to drive innovations that enhance user experience, support HR process and technology efforts, and deliver value to our global employee base. This role is also expected to demonstrate high proficiency in project management, system knowledge, process analysis, configuration abilities and communication skills. The person in this role will serve as the subject matter expert for the Workday Compensation module.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead Compensation analyst resource for HR business process and technology projects
  • Workday product expertise in the areas of Workday Compensation and other product areas as required.
  • Provide Workday subject matter functional expertise for day-to-day support and development including business process configuration, complex calculated fields, integrations, EIB(s), testing and other troubleshooting support
  • Present Workday best practices and partner with COE(s) to understand pain points, prioritize requirements and identify opportunities to improve processes and gain efficiency by leveraging Workday functionality
  • Partner with HR/business to define functional requirements including data, configuration, and integration needs and translate into technical requirements.
  • System consultant to HR business - identify and articulate process impacts on technology/data and potential constraints or downstream impacts
  • Responsible for quality assurance, creation of test scripts and testing execution
  • Develop documentation and training to support system or processes changes
  • Lead process and functional discussions while collaborating with key business centers, HR Business Partners, HR Operations, technical and development teams and third party vendors.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Strong experience with Workday Compensation and Advanced Compensation highly preferred
  • Experience working in a global company
  • Ability to gather and translate business requirements into specifications
  • Ability to work with contractors and 3rd party vendors to ensure a quality result on projects and enhancements.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, design, configure and support data, processes, and technology
  • Experience supporting stabilization and ongoing production support of technical solutions
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks/activities and prioritize appropriately
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills with technical and business partners at all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment

  • Highly organized individual with a process improvement and client service mindset
  • Proven ability to work successfully with global, cross-functional project teams and translate complex business analysis into actionable recommendations through to implementation
  • Ability to train and lead others
  • Results oriented with a track record of accomplishments and ability to problem solve and overcome challenges
  • High integrity, sound judgment and discretion regarding confidential information
  • High initiative and passion for improving business systems and processes
