Job Title: Service Desk Analyst

Come join us:Vernovis is looking for a Service Desk Analyst that will provide the highest level of end-user support, ensure the Service Desk continues to meet internal service level commitments, and drive the continuous improvement of organizational processes through the use of technology.

Responsibilities:
  • Execute against the defined priorities and deliver key projects on-time and on-budget
  • Maintain constant communication with the business to anticipate changes in priorities and adjust work accordingly
  • Enforce sound IT general controls environment through the development of, and training on, organizational-wide policies and procedures
  • Lead the organization through production support issues to ensure timely and complete resolution

  • Enforce standards across the technology organization
  • Provide in-person and remote Level 1/Level 2 support to end-users on a variety of issues including, but not limited to:
    • Client (PC) issues
    • Printing issues
    • LAN issues
    • Local power/UPS issues
    • Software training and support issues
    • Account/password issues
    • Remote access issues
    • Audio Visual issues and assistance
  • Assist with ongoing IT projects including, but not limited to:
    • Client (PC) imaging and replacement
    • Printer/Multi-Function Printer ordering/leasing
    • Software maintenance and licensing
  • Drive continuous improvement of efficiency and accuracy using technology and expansion of service management tools to automate and digitize existing manual business processes

Requirements:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Preferred 2+ years’ experience in a service desk role deploying hardware.
  • Strong time management and decision-making skills
  • Strong background in IT general controls including security and change management
