Description:Job Summary

Selects, moves, counts, packages, receives and processes parts used in the manufacturing or shipping of products within the facility or to outside customers. This includes the pulling of parts from inventory for delivery to the production floor, shipping area, and other departments as needed. This position requires a focus on organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a team based environment. Prioritization of daily activities based on MRP requirements.

Processing of orders in a timely manner. Includes the pulling, receiving, locating, counting and shipping of parts as needed.

Completion of paperwork and all necessary transactions within the MRP system.

Performs part verification of orders. Includes item verification to ensure proper items have been pulled and location verification to ensure proper FIFO rotation of inventory.

Back counting, cycle counting, and physical inventory counts.

Requires High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).

6+ months of Warehouse experience required.

Experience working with Bar Code scanners and software preferred.

Requires the understanding of verbal and written instructions. Including following instructions supplied in the form of work orders, customer orders, material requirements from routing sheets, and purchase orders or vendor delivery documents.

Required to operate parts weight scales and other common parts processing, receiving, or shipping equipment and software.
