Title: Python Developer

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: 6-12 Months (Right to Hire)

Can you please provide a summary of the project/initiative which describes what’s being done?

Cloud Modernization Finance team. Responsible for the financial chargebacks of all public cloud consumption on AWS, Azure and Google Cloud Platform across Organization.
This is achieved by use of data pipelines with each Cloud Provider and then preparing that data for consumption by downstream financial partners.
Analytics are also used to look at the data for cost savings as well as predicted usage to better allow teams to optimise their cloud costs.

What does the ideal candidate background look like (ex: healthcare specific background, etc.)?

We want to be as specific as possible with our firms so they can find the type of candidate you’re looking for.
Ideal candidate has strong python development experience and has previously built data pipelines in a cloud environment.
Terraform or similar framework for infrastructure as code is preferred.
Experience working with analytics databases on the cloud as well as familiarity with multiple cloud providers is ideal.

What experience will set candidates apart from one another?

Having worked on a highly available cloud application from start to finish, e.g. terraform provisioning, development and monitoring.

Are you open to candidates that would need to be 100% remote for the duration of the engagement?

Are you open to candidates that cannot convert to FTE without sponsorship? Candidates requiring sponsorship are fine.

What does the team structure look like – how many members and what is the break-down of the team’s skill sets

(ex: 1 PM, 4 Developers, etc.)? 1PM, Delivery Lead (myself), 5 software developers, 2 data engineers
