Our direct end ciient is looking for a Solution architect for a contract to hire role. This is 100% remote and consultant must be able to work flexible hours since they will be working with a varieity of countries. Interviews will take place the beginning of next week (week of the 9th). 1 and done interview. Interview format will be a working session where a problem will be provided before the interview and the candidate's solution will be discussed during the interview rather than a traditional interview format.
Solution Architect needed to learn and understand the spectrum of applications within the company, design solutions for how they all fit together and build proof of concept for new solutions supporting his/her design. Will be working across all divisions within the company and will work closely with architects from other teams. -Primary role and majority of their time will be focused on collaborating within the org and designing new solutions.-20-30% of their time will be hands on development.-Exceptional communication skills required as this person will need to be able to easily communication their solutions with non technical people, have the ability to understand and collaborate with technical people outside of their tech stack, etc. -Flexible schedule as schedule may fluctuate as they work with teams from other regions.-Will join a team of developers and 2 architects. Additional architects will be likely moving to the team in the near future.Tech StackJava or C# or PythonMicroservices - This is a big plus. They are currently transitioning from monolith to microservices.Skills in transferring data from Oracle and SQL server while platforms are running.
