Were looking for a Sr. Solutions Engineer to join our client in an ongoing effort to implement a new Transportation Management System (TMS). Ideal candidates will have extensive and intimate Logistics and Transportation systems implementation experience along with hands on technical configuration, integration and customization of TMS systems.
Responsibilities:- Evaluate current BY TMS solution and environments, identify fit to standard solutions, understand change activities, and contribute to risk assessment and mitigation- Execute system configuration, implementation, and testing activities within the scope of a project- Act as a change agent and assist operational teams with the transition from as-is / to-be processes and systems.- Function as a subject matter expert and drive the alignment of system functionality to desired processes and outcomes with the project team- Provide direction to the on-site team on the technical design, definition and execution of related business process workflows that accompany the solution- Evaluate system and operational performance to identify issues or opportunities for improvement, and collaborate on solution development or resolution- Interface with internal and external stakeholders with professionalism and the ability to connect system functionality to business processesRequirements and Qualifications:- 8+ years of TMS/JDA focused integration and WMS system optimization or similar Transportation Management Systems- Hands-on technical experience with some or all of the following elements of the JDA Transportation Management suite: Transportation Manager,Transportation Planner, Transportation Modeler, JDA Business Analysis, or Cognos Report Net.- Good knowledge of Order Management, Load Planning & Allocation, Execution and Financial modules of TMS- Knowledge of TMS architecture, key datapoints for Inbound and Outbound Integration with TMS- Expertise in MOCA Components, Trace File, Pagebuilder, Custom MOCA commands, Integrator, MTF (mobile terminal framework), Reports and labels- Proficiency with Java, SQL- Scripting (Shell/Unix etc) for test automation
