ANALYST, HARDWARE MANAGEMENT

OVERVIEW:

Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on providing computer equipment to ensure General Mills employees/contractors have resources to fulfill their role.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Provide technical support for Incidents in the team bucket where computer hardware is needed
  • Troubleshooting with end users via Outlook, Teams and phone calls to resolve issues where solveIT team was not able to provide support
  • Inventory tracking
  • Shipping process management
  • Backup for Hardware Management Specialist
  • Backup receiving/reconciling of newly purchased computer equipment
  • Backup support of Coupa approvals
  • Backup support in daily direction of Genesys Works interns
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, exceptional listening skills
  • Ability to prioritize, work under pressure and can multitask
  • Able to work well both as an individual contributor and as part of a team
  • Self-motivated and able to focus on day-to-day tasks
  • Takes initiative and always looking to improve processes
  • Interfaces with customers in a professional and friendly manner and is adept at resolving problems and diffusing difficult situations
  • Works on other projects/initiatives as needed
  • Onsite role at MGO

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Education - High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Technically sound
  • Software knowledge/understanding
  • Remedy knowledge
  • Attention to detail
