Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The selected individual will be a part of our team in the financial industry, focusing on tasks such as account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and general ledger management.Responsibilities: Oversee the process of account reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial records. Conduct balance sheet reconciliation on a regular basis to maintain financial transparency. Manage bank reconciliations to verify the company's bank balance with its financial statements. Maintain and update the general ledger system for financial data organization and classification. Prepare and post detailed journal entries for a record of financial transactions. Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting. Assist in the month-end close processes to ensure timely financial reporting.Requirements Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations. Demonstrated experience with General Ledger management and Journal Entries. Extensive knowledge and experience in Microsoft Excel. Experience with Month End Close procedures. Familiarity with FSA. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Prior experience in a similar role would be advantageous. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
