Job Description
Red Wing Shoe Company is seeking a Sr. (Administrative) Assistant to join in support of our largest business area. This role primarilyprovides high-level admin support to the President of North America Work division and the salesteams.
This position is responsible for a wide range of assistantduties including managing calendars, scheduling sales meetings, events and related travel, preparing communications, and creating reports.
Qualifications
Associate degree (A.A.) or an equivalent from a two-year College or technical school and minimum of four years related experience/training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Candidates should hold experience in supporting senior organizational leaders in a professional environment, where a high level of confidentiality is necessary to conduct business; Coordinating and managing multiple calendars; Event planning which includes negotiating contracts, scheduling travel, hotel, additional accommodations, and their corresponding expenses; Preparing and coordinating communications for internal and external business purposes;Experience with managing complex projects that require an understanding of the business, short and long term planning with defined milestones and deadlines, collaboration with multiple internal and external resources, creative problem solving, budget management, multiple communication avenues and approaches, and strong execution.
Candidates should display skill or knowledge in general administrative workexhibiting a high level of professionalism; Ability to organize work and manage time effectively;Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communicationto effectively connect with all levels of employees, as well as external customers; Ability to handleand appropriately prioritizerequests from multiple sources, in a timely manner;Strong proficiency in Power BI, Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
