OverviewM Health Fairview is hiring a Sr Project Manager! The Sr Project Manager handles end-to-end ownership of one or more projects. The Sr Project Manager will independently plan and run allaspects of assigned medium to large size projects (approximately $2-5M), including cost, schedule, scope, quality, value and project resources following the appropriate methodologies.This is primarily a work from home opportunity. Deliver projects (in terms of complexity, risk and/or business criticality) through effective management of budget, schedule, scope, quality, and value. Accountable for project communications, landmark tracking, resource planning, financials, risk assessment, and resolution of critical issues to project sponsors/owners.

Develop overall project plan, approach, and objectives; identify key measures of success. Develop a comprehensive project plan incorporating resource plans, accountabilities, and communication plan and timelines. Provide regular updates on plan progress and ensure all company standards are followed. Ensure appropriate testing and quality reviews are conducted and receive sign-off.

Identify and align project resource requirements including employee and contractor resources and work with plan sponsors to ensure adequately skilled resources are available to deliver on project commitments and ensure successful project delivery. Provide effective leadership to project resources in a manner that ensures timely delivery on commitments/tasks in support of broader project outcomes (through informal performance feedback, mentoring and skill development, etc.).

Collaborate with business partners, vendors, and staff to develop the project agenda and ensure agreement/adoption of project objectives by affected constituencies. Provide proactive project communication to project owner. Work to identify cross-organizational interdependencies and ensure appropriate integration to project plan. Handle client expectations and resource requirements to ensure ownership and success.

Build and run overall project readiness plan and communicate impacts to appropriate collaborators. Lead and participate in regular post-implementation reviews and present project metrics to assist with evaluation of project quality. Provide regular status reporting for assigned releases. Log, follow, and raise high priority project issues that may impact ability to deliver a quality project according to plan.

Actively champion the continuous improvement of project management standard processes, using innovative ideas to increase efficiency of the overall organization. Provide subject matter expertise in areas including project scope definition, risk identification, project methodology, prioritization, facilitation and other areas of expertise based on established project management techniques.

Coach and mentor staff regarding technology, methodologies, and standards. Proactively share knowledge and collaborate with IT teams to ensure quick and effective responses to customer needs. Maintain up-to-date business confirmed experience and technical skills in software development technologies and methodologies.

QualificationsRequired Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar combination of education/work experience (Bachelor's preferred).Required Experience:

7-10 years project management experience

Excellent written and verbal communication, including executive level presentations

Successful track record of delivering projects that meet business objectives

Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of tools

Ability to formally present project related information in a clear, concise, and persuasive manner

Excellent facilitation skills and ability to drive resolution to issues

Expert skills in project management methodologies, processes, and industry standard tools

Successful experience driving cross-organizational teams to meet project objectives

Ability to relate well at all levels of the organization, establishing rapport and maintaining collaborative relationships

Solid understanding of contract management

Preferred Experience:

Experience leading Application, Infrastructure and Facilities projects

Large organizational change management experience

Experience in Health Care industry

Experience with Waterfall methodology

Preferred License/Certification/Registration:

PMP Certification
