Primary Responsibilities:
  • Plan, document, evaluate and track testing results to ensure system applications are free from defects
  • Communicate and interact with appropriate areas on problems, changes and enhancements that may impact data, workflow and /or functionality
  • Work with business analysts, system analysts and programmers to create and analyze various required project documents
  • Comply with standards and strategies of the software development life cycle
  • Responsible for developing and executing comprehensive suites of test plans and test cases for system and integration testing
  • Maintaining and continued evaluation of test cases for inclusion in regression
  • Work closely with Analysts, Developers and other QA engineers to deliver the highest quality products in a timely and cost-effective manner
  • Create, maintain and execute test plans and test cases, analyzing and communicating test results, defect tracking and participating in day-to-day QA activities

Required Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate degree or 4 years equivalent experience
  • 4+ years quality analyst experience
  • 4+ years of experience on Mainframe Testing, Cosmos
  • Healthcare experience
  • Knowledge on SQL DB2 database query, CICS, ISPF, QMF, SDSF, FileAid
  • Knowledge of quality assurance principles, techniques and tools (Automation experience is a plus)
  • Proven ability to create, design, and execute comprehensive tests plans
  • Proven experience with defect tracking applications like ALM, Rally

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Automation Knowledge on Selenium
  • Well-versed with Agile
  • Solid oral and written communication skills to interact with all levels internally and externally
  • Possesses a positive, quality-oriented, reliable, and flexible attitude

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The Salary range for Colorado residents is $82,100 to $146,900. The Salary range for Connecticut/Nevada residents is $90,500 to $161,600. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
