Description We are offering an opportunity for a Sr Tax Accountant to join our team located in New Ulm, Minnesota. In this role, you will be critical to our business operations, handling tasks such as tax return preparation, tax planning, and maintaining client relationships. This role is crucial to ensuring accurate and timely delivery of financials, reports, and tax filings.Responsibilities: Prepare both individual and business tax returns with precision Assist in tax planning and implement effective tax strategies Utilize tax and accounting software applications to complete engagements Compile financial statements as per the industry standards Collaborate effectively with team members to complete project components and assignments Research and resolve technical tax issues as they arise Establish and maintain working relationships at peer and client level Stay updated with market trends and business developments in the accounting industry Ensure detailed documentation of work and maintain close attention to detail Use Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, CapEx, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, ERP Solutions, Accounting Functions, Auditing, Budget Processes, Cash Activity, Compliance, and Individual Tax Return skills in day-to-day tasks.Requirements Holds a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Tax Accountant or in a similar role. Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems and ADP - Financial Services. Demonstrated knowledge in CapEx and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning. Familiarity with ERP Solutions and the ability to perform various Accounting Functions. Proven experience in Auditing, Budget Processes, and managing Cash Activity. Commitment to Compliance and understanding of Individual Tax Return processes. Expertise in Tax - Individual domain. Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field. CPA or other relevant certification is preferred. Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
