Sr. Technical Analyst

Job Overview
  • Role is Techno-functional Sourcing Analyst. Person should be proficient in Databases such as Oracle/SQL and stored procedures
  • Develop technical and functional expertise in Supply Chain Sourcing
  • Guide the design and development of solutions for Supply Chain Sourcing projects
  • Provide first class service and proactively work to improve overall environment stability and ease of support
  • Develop close partnership with business users (Grain & Flour) to truly understand needs and facilitate connections to D&T & Sourcing business to ensure end to end solution optimization
  • Potential for light application development experience
  • Use a broad range of continuous improvement tools to provide insights, drive out waste, and improve system performance
  • Rotational off-hour support

Education/Experience
  • Bachelors degree required, Masters degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience, related experience preferred
  • Industry-relevant business process experience in Supply Chain area (Preferable in Sourcing Area)
  • Proficient with databases (Oracle/SQL) and stored procedures are mandatory
  • Experience with .NET applications would be a plus
  • Knowledge of SAP preferred
  • Able to support Day to Day operations & Technical Upgrades
  • Adhere to the OLA and SLA timelines
  • Drive systemic improvements in system health through identification of key re-occurring theme and deep understanding of end to end system knowledge
  • Facilitate/Support operational initiatives
  • Work with system users, other members of the IT Department, software vendors, and service providers in project environments and to resolve problems
  • Lead business continuance and small enhancements to drive the business growth
  • Must have excellent written and verbal skills, including technical writing
  • Must be able to develop technical solutions to business problems and act as a bridge between business and technical team
  • Strong analytical skills
