job detailsRandstad has partnered with a local Food Production company and we are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team on 1st Shift! This technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our processing plant and equipment. If you are proactive, detail-oriented, and possess hands-on experience in maintenance, we encourage you to !Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance for processing plant and equipment.
Repair broken/leaking plumbing to restore full use of water fixtures.
Replace damaged electrical wiring when a short or severed wire occurs.
Maintain the building's refrigeration equipment for Cooler, Freezers, and RTE Room.
Manage professional relationships with electrical, refrigeration, and other contractors.
Practice preventive measures on buildings and equipment to prevent future problems.
Resolve potential safety hazards to avoid injuries.
Spot painting of building interior and/or exterior.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in maintenance, preferably in a processing plant environment.
strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and refrigeration equipment.
Ability to manage professional relationships with contractors.
Excellent problem-solving and preventive maintenance skills.
Prior experience with boilers is preferred.
Boilers License is preferred; the company will cover the cost for obtaining the license if you have prior experience working with boilers.
