Systems EngineerJob Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Systems Engineer for a contract position in Richfield, MN. Opportunity will be five months with a strong chance for a long-term extension.Position Summary: This network engineer will work with other engineers to implement, manage and support areas to include: Data Center LAN, WAN, Load balancer, monitoring and cloud based computing solutions. Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

• Implementation and integration of data center, cloud and end user network solutions as required with other network technologies. This could include retail locations, campus, as well as the data centers.
• Documenting and updating network processes for Tier 1 and 2 staff
• Work with Project Management, architecture, business, technical and security teams to achieve project delivery with regard to network related initiatives.
• Escalation support for routing, switching, load balancer and DNS
• Vendor management skills (hardware/software security vendors as well as third party vendors)
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and resolve concerns

• 5+ years' information technology experience in networking and a bachelor's degree or 10+ years of the same experience without a bachelor's degree
• Plan, manage, and implement any improvement, modification, or replacement of network infrastructure components.
• Provide expert assistance with troubleshooting of network and application related issues utilizing network monitoring and packet capturing solutions. Take leadership on root cause analysis of network related problems and implement solutions.
• Develop and maintain procedures and associated documentation for network processes for Tier 1 and 2 staff.

• Prior experience with Cisco technologies and solutions including Nexus 9000/7000/6000/5000/2000, fixed configuration switches, and Cisco ASR series routers
• Prior experience with Load Balancers (Local & Global, Citrix and F5 preferred)
• Prior experience with network monitoring and packet capturing solutions
• Prior experience with the DNS/DHCP (Infoblox preferred)
