Talent Alignment Engineer - Minneapolis, MN $55k - $70k Monday - Friday (Day Shift)

Role and Responsibilities

  • Complete regular, formal assessments of networks and computer systems
  • Evaluate system and network performance by setting up SNMP at client locations
  • Audit existing documentation and identify gaps, either by resolving or creating tickets for other team members on the service team
  • Evaluate tickets and trends to mitigate support needs.
  • Working with the Account Managers to provide reports to clients
  • Primary engineer for onboarding clients while working with the Project Manager
  • Provide training for new tools and software deployment to clients via online seminars and in person events
  • Driving onsite to document, review and sometimes configure and label devices
  • Other duties as requested

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • High school diploma required, higher level degree preferred

Work Experience

  • 1+ years of technical account documentation / client documentation
  • IT Experience: 2 years required; 3 years preferred
  • MSP Experience: 1 year preferred
  • Use of PSA/Ticketing system

Preferred Skills

  • Ownership of assigned tasks
  • Coordination of service via phone, email using our PSA system
  • Being able to adapt and learn quickly
  • Ability and desire to develop relationships with clients and internal staff
  • Follow process and identify possible improvements
  • Time management skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with basic troubleshooting of servers, firewalls, routers, switches
  • Knowledge and basic experience with Microsoft Server and PC products at a high level
  • Knowledge and experience with advanced networking principles
  • Ability and desire to help create and update internal use documentation
  • Hardware, networking and PC operating system troubleshooting skills
