Technical Project Lead in the Mankato, MN

Opportunities to support measurable synergies and systemic business processes are abundant.The Technical Project Lead will be focused on a multi-year initiative relating to an enterprise-wide ERP digital transformation within the US and Canada locations.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manages high standard of deployment project deliverables throughout a full lifecycle (i.e., initiation to implementation).
  • Defines full project planning, delivery, and scope in relation to time, budget, and quality criteriums.
  • Launches appropriate processes and controls (i.e., resource planning, risk and issue management, status reporting, scope and change control management) to better manage the implementation and improve user adoption.
  • Work with a cross functional global team to develop quality Functional Design Documents for development/engineering teams.
  • Participate in end-user testing (i.e., creates test scripts, identifies key users, and facilitates coordination).
  • Identifies areas for process improvement, designs new processes, and implements.
  • Provides input to project budgets.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience with Technical Project Lead and/or Project Management.
  • Previous experience and comfortable with working closely with various senior-level stakeholders and third-party vendors.
  • Solid experience and understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Previous experience and/or familiarity with user testing, creating test scripts, etc.
  • Proven ability to deliver high profile enterprise projects successfully with strong project management and leadership skills.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications in a fast-paced global environment.
  • Detail-oriented and cool-tempered with excellent collaboration and communication
  • Willing to travel domestically and to Canada. Expected travel is 25%.

PREFERRED
  • Prior work with Dynamics AX2012 or Dynamics 365 for Finance & Supply Chain Management.
  • Previous experience leading projects focused on ERP system software.
