- Manage customer projects and programs for software products from its inception through delivery and operations.
- Work very closely with engineering teams to define, implement, and drive project requirements, workflows and plans.
- Manage timelines, resources, communications, quality, and project risks, while identifying roadblocks, defining critical paths, resource
- constraints, and any other escalated issues, should/as they arise.
- Provide and work through project scope, timelines, and project resources.
- Document and upkeep all project milestones and deliverables. Update project plans inclusive of resource allocations, time, adjustments,
- status, schedules, and milestones tied to the deliverables.
- Continuously monitor and measure project progress and activities to identify and communicate potential risks and issues in a timely manner.
- Work with the engineering and other teams to provide corrective actions to mitigate and/or resolve known risks or issues.
- Align senior leadership and key stakeholders around program roadmap.
- Lead cross functional teams in requirements reviews, deployment, and functional testing. This includes resource and dependency alignment,
- coordination of activities, and transparent communication of project status and risk.
- Escalate schedule delays due to issues and risks.
- Track and manage change requests to scope and obtain approval if necessary.
- Lead and develop all activities around project kickoffs, scope definition, acceptance testing, and weekly progress reports.
- Create formal project communication plans key project metrics and dashboards for project status communication.
- Conduct project evaluations, post-mortems, and drive process change to incorporate learning.
- Bachelor's in computer science, related field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 7 years of experience managing production software delivery.
- Experienced practitioner of modern software development methodologies such as: Agile, Kanban.
- Possesses exceptional priority management, facilitation, and organizational skills.
- Has the innate ability to stabilize situations through a calm and collected manner when interfacing with customers and internal teams.
- 5+ years of experience working with project/program management tools such as: Atlassian (Jira, Confluence), Aha.
