Our technologists are involved in work that includes cloud native development, digital architecture and integration, automation, cloud data platforms, artificial intelligence, and machine learning as well as maximizing platforms such as Salesforce, AWS and Microsoft.The Test Automation Consultant oversees, directs and drives test automation best practices throughout the organization. They will lead and work with other teams to select and implement test automation tools.SQ Assurance Engineers (SQAE) are responsible for defining, implementing and continuously improving policies, processes and procedures that deliver products and services of the highest level of quality and reliability for the business and customers. The SQAE ensures that quality standards are met and adhered to by using their knowledge and quality assurance methods, tools and techniques. The SQAE will resolve, document, and report to management quality problems that arise.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesDirect and mentor other in automation testingOversee and define automated testing scripts for complex environmentsLead and understand how ambiguous technical requirements lead to test cases and be able to write a positive and negative technical test caseLead and understand how ambiguous business requirements lead to test cases and be able to write a positive and negative test case. Ability to write test cases under the direction of othersOversee and review Test plans and Test CasesGuide and influence documentation related to projects assigned to provide high level test estimates for project planning. Gather and publish all estimates in a concise and trackable formatOversee and/or lead all aspects of testing, including automation, Smoke / Sanity Test, Functional Test, Integration Test and Regression Test, Performance/Load test and post implementation test as appropriate for continuous deliveryAbility to set defect life cycle in appropriate defect tracking tools and proactively identify risks to managementMonitors, evaluates and manages the test statusSets strategy for test data to support deliverablesEducate project teams on testing methodologies and neededRequired Job QualificationsBachelors degree or equivalent experience in computer science, business, mathematics or related field8+ years of applicable experienceStrong organizational, analytical and critical thinking skillsTechnical writingAdvanced in Test automation and frameworkStrong debugging and troubleshooting skillsDemonstrated strategic leadership on large-scale or multiple projects impacting strategic prioritiesExperience with Test Driven Development (TDD) frameworkIn-depth knowledge of systems design, architecting and implementing large business systemsAbility to train others (less experienced) on both methodologies and technologiesTesting certifications
