Test Technician

We are currently hiring a Test Technician in Fridley, MNDescription:Prepares generator sets or test articles for testing - including initial build and final teardown.Responsible for installing instrumentation into test articles per relevant engineering standards. Performs testing in accordance with established instructions, test procedures, and methodology.Utilizes mechanical blueprints to build, troubleshoot, and repair. Utilizes electrical schematics to construct and build wire harness assemblies.Prepare test articles and associated fixtures, rigs, and equipment for testing.Demonstrates an understanding of the function of test equipment and the contribution of the test equipment to the validity of test results.Demonstrates knowledge of the functioning of the product under test to assess the contribution of the product to the validity of the test results.Performs test stand installation, troubleshooting and setups.Upkeep and maintenance of laboratory equipment.Skills:Technician, Test, Testing, Troubleshooting, Mechanical, Schematic, Electrical, test equipment, instrumentation, calibration, test plan, wire harness, wire harness assembly, BlueprintTop Skills Details:TechnicianAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Two year degree preferred.Ability to understand mechanical blueprints & electrical schematics. Mechanically Inclined and desire to be hands on.Ability to use hand and power tools. Hands on experience troubleshooting. Experience with set up, utilization, and tear down of test equipment and instrumentation is ideal.
