Job Description:The role has a range of duties and responsibilities and is usually stationed within the finance or accounting department of an organization. Performs a variety of operational duties within an assigned area of Brokerage Operations.Primary job responsibilities include the settlement of Fed eligible securities in both customer and dealer transactions both trade and repo relatedInterfaces with external and internal personnel to resolve issues and ensure efficient service to internal business partnersEnsures the accuracy of settlements and balancing of operating system and depositoryDaily balancing of Government Security division and operating systemCommunicating daily trade breaks to middle office partnersCoordinates daily repo comparisons with various counterparties and clients.Primary Fed Settlement and repo experience preferred Experience:Trade Settlement background Understanding of FIS/Phase 3 platform Knowledge of Bank of New York BDC system REPO settlement experience Skills:Understanding of FIS/Phase 3 platform Knowledge of Bank of New York BDC system REPO settlement experienceEducation:Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred.
