The supervisor oversees a team of drivers [Class A and B] delivering to Domino’s Pizza stores. The supervisor is responsible for scheduling drivers, routing trucks, reviewing trip sheets for accuracy and ensuring compliance with DOT regulations, state, local laws, and company policies and programs. Effectively and efficiently handle customer complaints and concerns. Train new drivers in job duties, safely, and complete Job Safety Observations (JSO). The supervisor must be comfortable working in a diverse, fast paced environment.RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Leadership:
 Recruit, interview, select, and mentor new and tenured drivers
 Support driver engagement initiatives
 Monitor drivers performance and hold accountable when performance is below expectations, using coaching and/or progressive discipline, as needed
 Complete driver’s annual performance reviews
 Review driver’s lytx and logs and coach according to company
 Collaborate in drivers onboarding and training
 Ensure safe work environment in compliance with FMCSA, OSHA, company standards, local, state, and federal requirements
 Effectively communicate day-to-day with drivers, departments and vendors
 Create positive environment, morale and respect among team members
 Attend and participate in classroom or virtual Leadership & Development trainings
 Coordinate safety/team/quarterly meetingsReporting/Budget:
 Prepare and assist with Transportation generated reports
 Monitor budget and fuel cards to ensure funds are maximized
 Participate in the development of budgetsRouting, Scheduling, Hours of Service, and Maintenance:
 Weekly schedule driver routes and re-routing as necessary to ensure route coverage
 Conduct route analysis and recommend saving opportunities to Manager
 Monitor driver hours of service via onboard system
 Conduct route observations to ensure Drivers are safely performing their duties as required by company and DOT standards (The numbers of observations per period are determined by the number of drivers at the SCC)
 Maintain and monitor food safety standards in compliance with company and franchisee requirements
 Perform payroll duties when necessary and review driver payroll for accuracy
 Monitor mis-deliveries, and make recommendations to Manager on avoidance strategies
 Maintain driver qualification file
 Schedule truck maintenance and maintain fleet image
 Conduct accident investigations
 Coordinate deliveries and backhauls activities
 Assist the Transportation Manager with truck leasing meetings to ensure PMs are met to Domino’s standard and repairs are completed in a timely manner
 Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
 As needed, if qualified, drive company vehicle or straight truck for deliveries or to leasing company for service/maintenance, and on occasion work the yardCustomer Relations:
 Answer Slice of Pie complaints and keep leadership informed of findings
